The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities has called on the Federal and State Governments to take decisive measures towards changing the narrative of increasing insecurity and  the economic hardship Nigerians are facing.

The National President, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim made the call during the North Central Zonal Executive Council meeting of the Association at the Federal University of Lafia in Nasarawa State.

He stated that the prevailing trends in the country had made life difficult for the citizens as according to him, if leaders desist from blame game and be united irrespective of their political parties, there would be solution to the economic and security challenges.

Mr Mohammed Ibrahim explained that the  welfare of University workers across the country had continued to deteriorate due to what he described as inadequate people centred policies at different levels of government over the years hence the need to change the narrative to allow the people to breathe again.
