The Appealed Court sitting in Abuja has on Tuesday affirmed the election of Mr Jacob Kudu as winner of the March 18 election, representing Nassarawa-Eggon East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
Kudu of All Progressives Congress (APC) had defeated Mr Ibrahim Mohammed of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The court dismissed the appeal filed by Ibrahim Mohammed of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for lacking in merit
Addressing the media shortly after the judgment Kudu expressed gratitude to the judiciary for upholding the will of the people by affirmed his victory at the poll.
He called on his opponent to join hands with him to develop the constituency and better the lives of the constituents.
The lawmaker added that with the conclusion of the legal battle now, he would concentrate on delivering goodies to his people.
Kudu also assured to provide best representation to the constituency by sponsoring bills and attracting state government presence to the area.
