Nigeria Football Coaching Association constitutes Caretaker committee in Nasarawa

Following the crises in the Nasarawa State chapter of Nigeria Football Coaching Association, Ladan Bosso, National President of the association has constituted five-member Interim Committee.

The President made the announcement in a meeting with members and Nasarawa State Football Association (FA) on Tuesday in Lafia.

According to Bosso, the decision was aimed at ensuring peace among the members of the association in Nasarawa State and to make sure new officials are elected within three months.

The President of the Coaching Association added that he personally visited Nasarawa State to bring to an end the leadership problem in the association.

He lauded the effort being made by the FA in the state so far and reminded Coaches that they are an affiliate of football association and must always work in consultation.

Bosso directed the committee to begin the process of election of officials from local government to state level immediately.

He added that the interim committee must conclude election and vacate office for the new officials on or before Feb. 24, 2024.

He therefore, appealed to aggrieved members to put everything behind them and give peace a chance in the overall interest of the association.

On his part, the Chairman of the committee, Coach Rabo Mohammed who spoke on behalf of others expressed gratitude to the National President and members of the association for the confidence reposed on them.

He therefore assured them that the committee would provide a level playing field for all contestants and appealed for thier support to succeed on the assignment.

Similarly, Salisu Galadima, FA Chairman in the state expressed gratitude to the National President of the Coaching Association for his intervention.

He also expressed optimism that the intervention would put to rest the crises rocking the coaching association in the state.

He therefore said the FA would sponsor 15 Coaches from the state to professional training in Abuja and Lagos in fulfilment of his campaign promises.

It could be recalled that Mr Salisu Galadima, newly elected Chairman of FA in the state had recently suspended the activities of the Coaching Association because of crisis. (NAN).
