Now with his election Rev. Dinfa Mamshal will be taking over from the current Deputy General Secretary Rev. Dauda Digga Jimra who will be retiring from the service of the Church next month after attaining the 65 years compulsory retirement age.
The COCIN President Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo who was the main speaker at the weeklong event charged the delegates to shun pride and embrace humility.
Taking his Bible reading from Daniel 6:8-20, said pride opens to deception, brings regret and spiritual blindness. According to him, the word of God keeps us from pride, which is mostly caused by our insecurities.
During the meeting there were goodwill messages from the Governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, traditional rulers, former COCIN Presidents and others.
