The Plateau State House of Assembly Speaker, Abok Ayuba has today resume office after yesterday’s court judgement that order his reinstatement.
The Speaker, Ayuba Abok in company of some People’s Democratic Party PDP members, arrived the House of Assembly complex around 9:am and took his seat in the office of the speaker.
Abok appreciated God and the security agencies for maintaining peace and order and assured that he is back to work for all Plateau citizens.
The atmosphere at the Assembly complex is calm with the presence of security agencies at the entrance with few staff in the offices.
As at the time of filling in this report, only the opposition PDP members that are in the House with no APC member present.
Abok and his team are already making contacts to restore his security details and are set for plenary in a later time today.
He called on Yakubu Sanda and all the House members to join hand with him and work for the progress of the state.
It could be recalled that Justice Nefisa L Musa of the Plateau State High court sitting in Jos, had yesterday Monday passed a judgement for the reinstatement of Abok Ayuba who was impeached on November, 2021.
