The Plateau State Police Command has said its men are already trailing the abductors of the Kanke local government council Chairman, Henry Gotip to ensure his release unhurt.
The Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo noted that upon received of the report of the Kidnapp, the Commissioner of Police in the State, Bartholomew Onyeka directed his men to track the men of the underworld.
“The CP has instructed our men to trail and get him release unhurt and possibly arrest the kidnapers. Infact, the instruction was that non of them will sleep until they get him out” said the PPRO.
He assured the public that the command is doing every thing possible in realizing their mandate of crime free society as he appealed for calm among citizens of the state and the need to cooperate with Police to fish out bad eggs among them.
Recalled that the Kanke local government council Chairman, Henry Gotip was kidnapped by unknown gunmen at his residence in the early hours of Wednesday at Kwang, Jos South local government area of Plateau State.
