
Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Yakubu Sanda has reveled plans to empower Four hundred less privileged people with cash donations in his Pengana state constituency.
The Speaker revele this while in audience with APC Chairmen and Secretaries of the Seven Wards that make up Pengana Constituency, at Madaki Lodge, Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State.
In a statement made available to this medium by Press Secretary to the Speaker, Sabastine Hommuk, said the speaker used the forum and reeled out some projects he executed that have direct bearing to his constituency which some are completed while others are ongoing.
He added that the projects include, Construction of Box Calverts, building of Doctors quarters at Mista-Ali and empowerment schemes for his constituents among other projects.
The Speaker charged the Party Excos in Pengana Constituency to show personal commitment to the Survival and growth of the All Progressives Congress APC in the constituency, state and at the national level.
He acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions of the stakeholders that led to the success of the party in previous elections and other activities of the party within their various Wards.
The Speaker noted that the interface with the APC Wards Excos from Pengana will be a continuous one, geared towards fashioning out ideas and strategies that will propel the growth and unity of Pengana Constituents and Plateau State as a whole.
He spoke strongly on the need for loyalty to the APC led administration under the leadership of Governor Simon Bako Lalong and most importantly, working towards the success of the part in the forth coming bye election of Bassa/Jos North Federal House of Representative next week Saturday.
Leader of the delegation and Chairman Jengre Ward, Danjuma Agada, while appreciating the interactive session with the Speaker, noted that, it has further demonstrated the concern and desire of the Speaker to unite the party.
He noted that as stakeholders of the Party at the grassroots, they will continue to support and pray for the progress of the Party at all levels.
Mr Agada, noted that, they have watched with admiration the leadership style of the Speaker and the Constituency projects he has so far executed across the seven Wards of Pengana.
Representative of the delegation urged the Speaker to lobby for more projects to the constituency, particularly the proposed Law School Campus. They equally appreciated Governor Simon Bako Lalong for considering sons and Daughters of Pengana worthy of appointments in his Cabinet.
Mr Agada assured the speaker of working towards the success of the fourth coming Bassa/Jos North Federal house of Representative bye election.
