The Nasarawa State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, Dr Labaran Magaj, has distributed Renewed Hope rice palliatives across political support groups, organisations, association, among others.
Magaji gave approval for the distribution of the Renewed Hope rice after meeting with groups in Lafia.
The Renewed Coordinator, while thanking President Bola Tinubu for always remembering Nasarawa state, urged the group’s leaders to ensure that the rice palliatives get to the grassroots, no matter how little, noting that the spirit behind the gift was what mattered.
Magaji, who is also the Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, thanked the groups for participating in the “Thank You Maga Rally’ for President Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule.
He dismissed the rumour making the round that the rally was sponsored by the Government, adding that no money was given by the Government to share to people to participate in the rally.
Magaji, however, said that the thank you rally was sponsored by people of like minds who came up with the initiatives and financed the programme.
Also speaking, Mr. Saleh Barde, Chairman, Disability Rights Commission, thanked the State Renewed Hope Coordinator, Dr. Magaji, for carrying along people with disabilities in his programmes and activities of the Government.
Mrs Beauty Ebuh Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Sule, while making a case for more inclusion of Nasarawa women groups at the national level, said they would ensure that the message of the Renewed Hope rice palliatives gets to the people at the grassroots.
Yakubu Kwanta, Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, while commending the state Coordinator for identifying the groups and bringing them under one fold, urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working hard for the re-election of President Tinubu.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Renewed Hope State Coordinator, Dr Labaran Magaji, had recently received 1,200 25 kg bags of Renewed Hope palliatives rice for onward distribution. (NAN)
