A 2019 gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Arch. Shehu Ahmed Tukur has declared his interest to contest for the governorship in 2027 general elections.
Tukur said he is ready to vie for the number one position in the state to fulfil his political conviction for the state, calling on supporters to remain law abiding and obtain their PVCs.
He stated this while inaugurating Nasarawa Southern Senatorial
Zone Coordinators of the ASAT Vanguard in Lafia.
He called on the newly inaugurated coordinators to remain neutral and work in line with party guidelines by avoiding anything capable of creating bad image over his political movement to attain success come 2027.
He charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by ensuring he emerges victorious in the next elections.
Tukur explained that he will inaugurate the Northern and Western senatorial zones of the state to kick start his campaign across the thirteen local government areas, to succeed Governor Abdullahi Sule by sustaining his developmental projects across the political ban is lifted by the electoral umpire.
Responding, the Nasarawa state Director General ASAT Vanguard, Alhaji Abdullahi Yammani assured the Architect Shehu Tukur that Nasarawa southern senatorial zone Coordinators will do their best to ensure that they deliver him in the upcoming general elections in the country.
Also speaking on behalf of the coordinators,the zonal Director of the Nasarawa southern senatorial zone,Ayale Luka however assured the Governotorial aspirant that any coordinator that is not doing What is expected will be replaced by a qualified and confident person that will do the needful in projecting the interest of the architect Tukur come 2027.
