The Management of the Federal University Teaching Hospital (FUTH) Lafia has warned members of the public especially job seekers against given money to scammers promising to give them employment at the hospital.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mrs Ruth Namo, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the hospital and made available to Journalists on Friday in Lafia.
She explained that it has come to the knowledge of the management of the hospital that some unscrupulous individuals are going about defrauding unsuspecting individuals of their hard-earned money in the guise of offering them employment.

The general public should beware of fraudsters and anyone who gives money to any individual in the name of getting employment in FUTH Lafia does so at their own risk.
She also said that the management would collaborate with the security agencies to fish out those perpetrating this act to maintain the integrity of the hospital.
“Any time the hospital will employ, it will make it known to the public through the appropriate channels and nobody will be asked to pay before he or she is employed in the hospital,” she added.
She therefore advised those in the habit of using the hospital to scam people to desist, or if caught, they will face the wrath of the law. (NAN).
