Member representing Uke/Karshi constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Saidu Gude, says he is focusing on providing the much needed dividends of democracy to his people in order to improve on the standard of living.
This, the Lawmaker cautioned Nigerian youths against act of thuggery as political activities gathered momentum ahead of 2027 general elections.
Hon. Gude stated this while playing host to youths from Roguwa community of his constituency in his office in Lafia, today.
The lawmaker said that he has done so much in the areas of provision of water, employments, education, health and empowerments among others.
He advised them to shun any act of political thuggery as elections and other political activities are gearing up in the country ahead of 2027 polls.
The House Deputy Minority Whip also called on the youths to be innovative and explore opportunities around them for their growth and societal development.
He assured them of his continued commitment to provide quality and sound representation at all times.
Hon. Gude further called on them to continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations.
On called on him to re-contest, the lawmaker appealed to the youths to give him time to respond to their call to re-contest in 2027.
” At the moment, I am focusing on providing infrastructure and other intervention to my people of Uke/Karshi constituency to give them more sense of belonging.
” And to improve on their standard of living” he said.
Earlier, Mr Usman Mohammed, the Leader of the delegation commended Hon. Gude for closing the deficit gap in infrastructure within his constituency and other interventions that are transforming the lives of people at the grassroots.
Usman said that the lawmaker has brought human face to the business of governance, making a difference and breaking the barriers thus encouraging him to sustain the tempo.
He pledged their loyalty and support to him to succeed beyond 2027 in his political ambition.
Usman called on Hon. Gude to re-contest come 2027 to consolidate on his achievements.
