The Executive Chairman of Warji local government area of Bauchi State, Hon Aminu Barmini has commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the developmental and transformational changes in the local government council.
He made this statement on Thursday while leading Media Executives, government officials and journalists on a tour of some of the ongoing and completed projects by the Governor Bala Mohammed administration throughout the local government council.
The Chairman who expressed happiness over the assessment of projects in his council area, led the journalists, Media Executives, journalists and government officials to inspect completed and ongoing projects within the council area
to ensure they could see the developments.
Some of the projects include the construction of General Hospital Katanga in community, Construction of local government lodge, Completed erosion control culvert in Dagu community and construction of 19km Warji Gwaram road.
“During Governor Bala Mohammed governorship campaign, he promised the people of Bauchi State that if he won the election, he would transform the state and indeed, he has left no stone unturned in fulfilling his promises to the people of Bauchi, particularly in infrastructural development, rural transformation, health, education, water schemes, rural electrification,” he said
He particularly commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the construction of the erosion control culvert in Dagu community, saying that it has helped in curtailing the problem of flooding in the community.
” We are happy that the construction of this culvert has alleviated the plight of the people living in this community because in the past, flood destroyed farmlands, houses and properties, but with the construction of this culvert incidents of flood has been reduced to the barest minimum”
” On the construction of 19km Warji Gwaram road, the road has opened up economic and commercial activities in the communities because people now do their businesses with ease unlike in the past where the reverse was the case” he said
Also speaking, the District Head of Warji, Ibrahim Ismaila. commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the renovation of the palace and equipping it with furnitures, adding that the people of the council area are indeed grateful to the Governor for keeping to his promises.
One of the residents of Dagu community, Zubairu Mohammed thanked the Governor for all the development projects in the communities of the council area, particularly the construction of erosion control culvert, saying that they have nothing to fear with the coming of the rainy season.
