Plateau: Butura Nation Condole with Bokkos Traditional Council over Death of 2 Cabinet

The Saf Butura, Dah (Dr) Engr John Gabriel Mallo Makwal has led the Butura Traditional Council,  Community Development Association and the entire Butura Nation to a condolence visit on the Saf Kulere Chiefdom and acting Chairman Bokkos Traditional Council, Dah Lawrence Ayinzat  over the demise of two of his cabinet members, Saf Sha, late Paul Abakai and Saf Richa late Tom Ashawa who both died recently.

Represented by the Village head of Mandar, Dah Sati Jallang, the Saf Butura said the news of their demise was received with rude shock and described it as a colossal loss to the Bokkos Traditional Council, the people of Richa and Sha Districts in particular and Plateau State as a whole.

 Report by Yusufu Haruna Magit said at each of the places visited Dah (Dr) Engr John Makwal stated that the People of Butura are saddened by the losses of the two District heads and called on both the Sha and Richa people as well as the Bokkos Traditional Council to take solace in God as death is the end to mortal being which no one can question the will of God who gives and takes as he deemed feet.

The delegation paid condolences on His Royal Highness, the Saf Kulere Chiefdom and acting Chairman Bokkos Traditional Council, Dah, Lawrence Ayinzat, the Saf Bokkos District, Dah Monday Adanchin and Sha District, respectively. The delegation were unable to reach out to Richa District due to torrential rain with the bad nature of the road especially in during the rainy season like this.

 At each place of call, the leader of the delegation, Saf Mandar, Dah Sati Jallang, the Saf Mabol of Butura Nation, Wing Commander, Dah C S Makut (rtd) and the President, Butura Community Development Association, Philip Julson all leant their voices in condoling with the mourners over the painful exit of the two Royal fathers.

In their separate responses, Saf Kulere Chiefdom and acting Chairman, Bokkos Traditional Council, Lawrence Ayinzat, Saf Bokkos District, Deh Monday Adanchin, wife of the late District head of Sha, Nah Cecilia Paul Abakai, one of the king makers of Sha District, Angatak and Afal Laazarus Agai all commended the people of Butura nation for their unity of purpose, peaceful coexistence and always taking the lead in community development and cultural events as well as identifying with other communities in terms of happiness and sorrow.

While further appreciating the people of Burtura nation for condolences, stressed that they are further strengthened and comforted by their show of love and concern.

Prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased, comfort upon the families and peaceful coexistence among all ethnic nationality were rendered at each point of call as well as condolence gift items both in kind and cash was presented to the family of the deceased monarch.
