Khamis Musa Darazo, a resident of Bauchi State, has lauded President Tinubu for authorising the issuance of licences required to advance the Kolmani Integrated Development Project—a multi-billion-dollar oil exploration initiative located between Bauchi and Gombe States.
Khamis who is an die-hard supporter of Tinubu, sacrificed all his NYSC allowance during the President’s campaign and also names his daughter after Tinubu late mother, a gesture that showcased deep respect and admiration for the President family.
According to him, the projects will create new job opportunities for youths and increase regional wealth, thereby bringing more investors from outside the country.
“Recall that recently ,the permanent site of the Bauchi Oil and Gas Academy in the Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, located within the Kolmani region, was commissioned by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri. With this development, Bauchi state has positioned itself to be a contributor to national development”
‘Kolmani licenses approval is in line with President Tinubu’s commitment to unveiling the full potential of the energy sector as a driver of economic growth. The Previous administration hatried to actualize this project, but was not able to, until the coming of the administration of President Bola Tinubu “
“The Kolmani Oil License will open up the North, bringing opportunities to the region and Nigeria at large. I want to show my appreciation in the best way possible by donating a Sallah ram to the President which is my way of saying thank you.”he said
Khamis’s gesture has sparked conversations across the country, with many praising his loyalty and dedication to the President. As the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations approach, Khamis is eagerly preparing to fulfill his promise, hoping that his gesture will serve as a testament to the impact of the Kolmani Oil License on the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
