Plateau: BUDA President Assures of Adequate Care, Development of his People

The National President of Butura Community Development Association (BUDA), Dr. Ezekiel Macham, has pledged to ensure the realization of the Butura roadmap with sincerity. 

Speaking at the Butura Wur District palace after taking his oath of office as administered by the legal adviser of BUDA Barr Mattah Daniel, Doctor Macham emphasized that the roadmap will be explored to uplift the standard of living for all members of the community.

Magit Haruna report that the President highlighted the importance of skills acquisition for the youth, regardless of their educational background, through the mentorship of Engineer Jerry Isaac Mallo, Dr. Macham sought support from the Traditional Council, his predecessors, Executive Council and stakeholders to achieve the Butura roadmap.

Dr. Macham used the occasion to thanked God for being faithful to him and his family throughout his career both at home and in the diaspora as well as according him the opportunity celebrate his 70th birthday, while pledging to justify the confidence reposed on him by the Butura nation.

In a Royal blessing, the Saf Butura District, Dah Engr. Dr. John Gabriel Mallo Makwal, congratulated Doctor Macham and the new BUDA National Executive Council on their swearing-in and the celebration of Doctor Macham’s 70th birthday. He called on all Butura people to support them in bringing their experience to bear for the development of the Butura nation.

Goodwill messages came from the Executive Chirman, Bokkos Local Government Council, Amalau Samuel Amalau as represented by his deputy, Mahwel Joseph Wallangko, Councillor Butura Ward, Longs Ephraim Mallan, outgoing BUDA National President, Dah Philip Julson among other personalities where they congratulated Dr. Macham over his 70th birthday and swearing-in as Executive Council of BUDA, emphasizing on unity of purpose, peaceful coexistence, and accountability.

The event was marked by the BUDA National Executive Council’s oath-taking presentation of certificates by the ELCOM Chairman, Caleb Luka Mafuyai, traditional dance and cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant supported by his wife Rhoda Macham at Mabel home of the BUDA President, Dr Macham.
