
Dr. Ezekiel Macham’ is indeed a quintessential leader, his impressive background and achievements make him an ideal fit for the role of National President of the Butura Community Development Association (BUDA).
Born in 1955 at Butura, into the humble family of Dah Ibrahim Macham’ and Nah Rauta Ibrahim (nee Magit) Dr. Macham has earned a well-tailored educational background from various institutions within and outside the shows of Nigeria, including Local School Board (LSB) Butura and Government Secondary School (GSS) Kuru for his elementary and secondary education. Again, he equally went to Ahmadu Bello University, Bakura, Nigeria; Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, Alabama, USA; and Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where he earned his Master of Science. Degree in Agricultural Education and Technical Services, Tuskegee University and PhD in International Affairs and Development, equipping him with the requisite qualifications for the labor market.

His extensive experience as a civil servant, both locally and overseas, has prepared him for this new role. Dr. Macham’s leadership journey is marked by his successes as the president of Nigerians in the diaspora, showcasing his ability to drive positive change.
Dr. Macham has received numerous awards for his community service and leadership, including the Excellence Award from the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization, Americas, the Medshare Community Leadership Award, and the Alliance of Nigerians in Georgia Leadership Award. He has also supported various philanthropic causes, including the annual Nahwai festivals, and has provided philanthropic gestures and other forms of support to his community.
His family, friends, associates, and organizations have benefited from his generosity and leadership. His commitment to moving Butura forward, has earned him a landslide victory during the recent election, held at Kunet, the headquarters of Butura Ward, in Bokkos Local Government Area of plateau State.

As Dr. Macham takes on this new role, it’s heartening to see the community come together to celebrate his achievements. The Butura Traditional Council, the exiting leadership of the Butura Community Development Association (BUDA),leadership of the Butura Youth Movement (BYM) and that of the Women Wing have all played significant roles in community development initiatives.
The task that lies ahead of the new leadership is to bring to bear his wealth of experience in implementing his well articulated manifesto alongside implementing the Butura road map, peace building initiative, unity of purpose within the seven clans that constitute Butura, thus; Mandar, Dakon, Mashat Fachi and Gai respectively. as well as sustaining the developmental strides of his predecessors including the Butura annual Nahwai festival of Arts and Culture which has gained international recognition.
Dr. Macham’s swearing-in on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, alongside his Executive Council members elect, at Butura Wur, coincides with his 70th birthday. The celebration will continue at his home in Mabel, Butura, making it a momentous occasion. Congratulations to Dr. Ezekiel Macham on his well-deserved recognition, and may his leadership continue to inspire and uplift the Butura community, through his envisioned plans.
Dr.Macham who is Currently the CEO of Alliance Hotel, Bukuru,Jos South LGA is happily married to Mrs. Rhoda Macham, and the union is blessed with five children and two grand Children. His hobbies includes, playing recreational games, listening to music and traveling among others.
