Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State, has expressed its readiness to work with the Police, other security agencies and stakeholders to promote peace for Safer Nasarawa State and the country at large.
Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the PCRC Chairman, Nasarawa State gave the assurance in Lafia on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen during Renewed Hope Police Agenda : Citizens Town Hall Engagement on Strengthening Community Policing in Nigeria.
The town hall engagement was organized by Ministry of Police Affairs with the Theme Community Policing: Building A Safer Nigeria Together”
Abuluya, who is also the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga said that effective partnership with police and other security agencies would not only promote unity and peace in the state
” But will also bring speedy development to Nasarawa state, North Central Zone and the country at large,” he said
Abuluya, the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide assured of his readiness to go to all nooks and crannies of the State. to be the mouth piece of the police for peace and overall development of the state.
” i want to assure that we will continue to help the police and other security agencies to promote peace and unity in the state.
” We will continue to be the mouth piece of the police by providing useful information that will help in promoting peace and unity in the state,” he said
Abuluya urged the people of the state and the country at large to continue to provide useful information to police for safe and peaceful Nigeria.
” No nation will achieve meaningful development without peace and unity.
” As the importance of peace to human and societal development could not be overemphasized.
” So let’s all Nigerians help the police and other security agencies with useful information that will promote peace in the country,” he said
The PCRC chairman assured of his readiness to initiate good policies and programmes that would promote peace in the state.
Also, Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State under the leadership of Mandy David Abuluya, has bagged award of Excellence from Minister of Police Affairs ( State), Hon Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim for its dedication, commitment and support of the Renewed Hope Police Agenda in Nigeria.
The Award titled ” Recognition of Excellence is presented to Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC) Nasarawa State Chapter in recognition for your dedication, commitment and support of the Renewed Hope Police Agenda in Nigeria”
