3 years Scorecard: Nanbol Listick defining Representation in Action.

The 3 years representation of a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, representing Langtang North Central, Daniel Nanbol Listick can no doubt be described as amazing.

Nanbol Listick is one of the state legislators that stand out in times of legislative contributions in the floor of the house and Constituency interventions.

The member, according to some documentations by his aides on his legislative and outside legislative activities, has made numerous contributions in lawmaking which is his primary responsibility and constituency interventions to the people he is representing.

Some of the documentations revealed that Nanbol Listick as Chairman of the House Committee on Health, has sponsored bills among which are: A Bill for a Law to Establish the Plateau State Drugs Management Agency and Other Matters Related, 2020 (Passed in PLHA awaiting assent). A Bill for a Law to Provide for the Establishment of Plateau State Health Management Information System and for other Matters Connected, 2020 (Passed in PLHA awaiting assent).

Also, A Bill for a Law to establish the Plateau State Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) Board and other matters Related, 2020 (Passed in PLHA awaiting assent). A Bill for a Law to Establish the Plateau State Social Protection Unit (PLASSOPUT) and Other Matters Related, 2020 (Passed first reading, passed second reading, public hearing conducted, committee report presented)

Other bills includes, A Bill for a Law to provide for the registration and regulation of Community Development Association and Allied Association in Plateau State and other matters related, 2020 (Passed first and second reading. Public hearing conducted), A Bill for a Law to provide funding support to approved Faith Based Institutions in Plateau State and other matters connected, 2020 (Passed first and second reading. Public hearing conducted)

Some of the bills to his name are, A Bill for a Law to provide for the establishment of Plateau State blood transfusion safety Commission for the regulation, assessment of blood donors, blood and blood products banking, administration and ethics of dealing in blood for human-medical use and related matters, 2020 (Passed first and second reading. Public hearing conducted), A Bill for a Law to Provide for the Establishment of the Plateau State Infectious Disease Hospital and for Other Matters Related, 2020 (Passed First Reading).

He has also moved motions on issues of urgent public importance and contributed to many discussions for the good of his constituency and all the Plateau citizens as a whole.

Nanbol Listick has also intervened in his Constituency through projects which includes, Construction of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps outpost in Pil-Gani under Pil Ward of Gani District. Construction of Nigeria Police Force outpost in Reak under Reak Ward of Bwarat District. He provided support to Fire Fighters in Langtang North and donated motorcycle (machines) to security agencies.

He constructed Primary Health Care Clinic in Reak under Reak Ward of Bwarat District. Constructed Primary Health Care Clinic in Yakot community under Gani District and renovated Primary Health Care Clinic in Shi-Lur under Pishe-Yashi Ward of Gani District.

He has also constructed and renovated many Local Government Education Authority LGEA primary Schools and drilled many hand pump boreholes across the Constituency.

Listick has also Empowered constituents to provide medical services through patent medicine stores and supported Government Science Secondary School, Kumkwam under Jat Ward of Bwarat District with science equipment.

The member has 65 students that he is paying their school fees in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary institutions and 3 other students on international scholarship to enable them obtain first degree in their field of interest. My

He sponsored constituents on skill acquisition program under Industrial Training Fund (ITF) – Gender considered 2020.

He supported 240 secondary science students across Langtang North Central State Constituency with ten thousand naira each to augment WASSCE registration in 2019/2020 academic session. The schools were public, private and faith-based schools.

He equally distributed exercise books to over twenty three thousand pupils across the constituency during 2019/2020 academic session.

Nanbol distributed a deep freezer, water pumping machine, welding machines, generators, sewing machines etc. to constituents from 2019 to 2021 and  empowered selected constituents to start small businesses and dry season farming among others.

According to the member, most of the bills, motions and Constituency interventions were done in consultation with his constituents best on areas of needs in the Constituency.
