
Vice Chancellor, Karl Kumm University Vom, Prof. Nanven Audu Gambo has expressed optimism that the institution will in the nearest future become a global research-based citadel of learning.
The Vice Chancellor was speaking when he hosted the National Universities Commission Review of Operational License Team in his office recently.
While welcoming the team, Prof. Gambo disclosed that the management was rigorously strategizing to ensure that the institution overcome contemporal challenges in the nation’s education industry.


A statement signed by the Protocol and Information Officer to the Vice Chancellor, Bulus Gambo quoted Prof Gambo as saying “since the Federal Government granted the institution permission for operational activities in 2021, an enabling environment for sustainability has been created by both the institution’s management and other critical stakeholders for academic excellence.
Prof Gambo while appreciating the remarkable working relationship between the NUC, the host community and the institution, also thanked the proprietor of the institution and COCIN President Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo for the massive support which has propelled them to achieving the feat.

Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the Review of Operational License Team and Head, Federal Universities Inspection and Monitoring Division, Directorate of Inspection and Monitoring, National Universities Commission, Patrick Ukah said they were in the university to evaluate and ensure assessment of requirements for the sustainability of the institution’s operational license in accordance with NUC’s guidelines.
He then extended the good wishes of the Acting Executive Secretary of the NUC, Mr. Chris Maiyaki to the management of the Karl Kumm University.
Highlight of the visit was tour of various facilities provided by the University for both its staff and students by the Director Academic Planning, Prof John Mawak.
