“… Rt. Hon Abel Bala assures of quality education in the state under his watch•••”
The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has received the report of the House Standing Committee on Education, Science and Technology on a Bill for a Law to Amend College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia Nasarawa State 2020 and other Matters Connected Thereof.
Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the House received the House Report after Rt. Hon Abel Yakubu Bala, the Chairman of the committee presented its report during the House proceedings today in Lafia.
The Speaker slated 4th March, 2024 for the deliberation of the report.
Earlier, Rt. Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala, the Chairman, House Committee on Education, Science and Technology while presenting the report said that the bill was seeking to change the nomenclature of the heads of the institution from Provost to Rector and Deputy Provost to Deputy Rector.
The former acting Speaker appreciated Speaker Jatau for the confidence reposed in them
He also commended members of his committee for their efforts in making inputs for a successful report.
The lawmaker assured the House of the Education committee under his leadership to continue to do its best in uplifting the education standard in the State.
