Jos East TIC Chair Congratulates Gov. Mutfwang on Supreme Court Victory 

The Transition Implementation Committee Chairman Jos East LGC, Chief Markus Usaini Nyam, has congratulated Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on his reinstatement by the supreme  court as the duly elected Governor of Plateau State.

A congratulatory message from the office of the Chairman described the supreme court judgement of Friday, January 12th, 2024 as rightfully reinstating the Governor’s mandate as the duly elected Governor of Plateau State.

He also described Barr. Mutfwang as a resilient and dogged Governor and leader of the “Time Is Now” administration on the Plateau, and view the judgement as well deserve victory.

According to him, Jos East takes pride in Governor Mutfwang’s unwavering commitment to pursuing his mandate to its logical conclusion. He commended the Judiciary for upholding justice as the last hope of the common man and expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for maintaining neutrality in the court matter. And view the Governor’s triumph as a testament to the strength of our democracy.

“As we pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, and sound health for the Governor, we urge you to lead with inclusivity, transcending ethnic, religious, and political affiliations. We also call on the opposition and all residents of Plateau State to unite, fostering peace, loyalty, and support for the Governor. Together, let us build on the established initiatives that transform Plateau into a thriving tourist haven.

“With politicking behind us, let us embrace governance, recognizing that there are no victors or vanquished. Plateau is a collective endeavor, and it’s time for everyone to contribute to its growth. The land is green, and the time is now to join hands in elevating Plateau to greater heights.” He added.
