
The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Sanda has appealed to delegates from his Constituency for support in the forthcoming All Progressives Congress APC State Assembly primary election.
Hon. Yakubu Sanda who made the appeal yesterday when he visited the party Exco’s in their various electoral Wards of Pengana Constituency, appreciated them for the support accorded him which was the ladder he climbed before becoming their representative and eventually the speaker of the house.
The speaker made it clear to the delegates that he is not a desperate politician, but let the will of God prevail if God finds him worthy to represent the good people of the constituency again.

While soliciting for their votes the lawmaker reeled out few out of his many achievement in his 3 years in office. They includes, equipments and cash empowerment, distribution of School materials, constructions of culverts and bridge, rehabilitation of Primary Health Care clinics, provision of portable water, electrification aside motions for the good of his constituents and state at large.
Hon. Sanda also promised to lobby and complete the road construction to Rimi Ward which was initiated by the late House of Representative member of Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency, Haruna Maitala before his demised if the Lord favour him to represent them for the second time.
He told the delegates to entrust him with another mandate that will give him the platform to continue the good work of touching lives by bringing dividends of democracy to the constituency.
Many of the Ward Exco’s who spoke during the visit lauded the speaker’s short time achievements, notable among which they said was the recent disbursement of 7 million naira cash empowerment scheme for 350 people across the 7 Electoral Wards and 10 brand new motorcycles to the constituents.
The party Exco’s and delegates told the speaker that they have no regret over his representation because he has not disappointed them but appealed to him to create job opportunities for their teaming graduates, provides more Boreholes for them and consider some of their roads which is a challenge for them during raining season and in transporting their farm produce.

The speaker also visited to comfort the family of Mr. Joshua Hosea Laya whose wife was kidnapped and the father shot on the leg in the process. She recently regain her freedom from the kidnappers and is recovering at home.
Places visited by the Speaker includes Buji, Gurum, Zabolo and Rimi Wards respectfully as he is trusting God to see the remaining Wards Exco’s before the Primary election.
