He said the organization observed with dismay and disheartening the killings of over one hundred and fifty people, including women and children in more than 20 villages of Bokkos and Barkin Ladi local government areas of Plateau State.
“The attack on mostly remote Communities came barely few hours when the innocent villagers were set to celebrate this year’s Christmas, but the marauders turned their celebration into mourning.
“The perpetrators of this barbaric act should not be allow to go free, as we call on the security agencies to put into use all their machineries to locate, fish out and prosecute the killers, as that is the only way to ensure justice to the victims.” The statement added.

They called on the security agencies which according to them have the mandate to deal with criminals to not condone any act of criminality in any form.
“You must rise to the occasion and fulfill the oath of your engagement by protecting lives and property of every citizen.
“Unmasking the usual unidentified assailants would serve as deterrent to others and to some extent gives hope to the traumatized victims and their love ones.
“Security Agencies must also take serious, early warning security threats in communities as often time those early warnings being discarded as mere rumours usually turn to be true.
“We also call on government at all levels and all stakeholders to go beyond condemning such dastardly acts and take proactive measure in dealing with the situation sincerity of purpose , as no amount of condemnation or compensation can bring back lost lives or even lost property.
The organization also sympathized with the victims and the people of Plateau State generally, they also appealed to all meaningful citizens to support the victims with relief materials to give them succour.
