
The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC in Plateau State who was declared winner of the March 18, 2023, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe has dedicated his victory God and to the People of Plateau State.
In a statement through his spokesman Shittu Bamaiyi, Dr. Nentawe expressed heartfelt appreciation for the divine intervention from the beginning to the end of the litigation process at the Court of Appeal.
He called on his party’s supporters to exercise restrain and maturity in celebrating the outcome of the judgement.
According to him, the Court of Appeal’s judgement is humbling and uplifting in many respects, particularly as it concerns his person and deputy, Pam Bot-Mang as well as the entire APC family.
Nentawe stated that the Court’s decision is fulfilling and rewarding in APC family’s dogged commitment in achieving its mission and vision for the State.
He noted that it is reassuring and inspiring, the overwhelming as well as the unwavering faith the APC supporters have in the rule of law, adding that their labour will not go in vain.
Nentawe commended the Justices of the Court of Appeal for the unanimity of opinion in the judgement delivered.
Nentawe also showered encomiums on his lawyers, such as the lead counsel, Professor Kayode Olatokun, Edward Pwajok SAN, Yakubu Ruba SAN, Mathew Bukaah SAN, Professor Theodore Maiyaki SAN, Sunday Obende and Sam Abah for the delligent prosecution of the Appeal.
