The leadership of Kunet-Barah Community Development Association, (KUBACDA), in Bokkos local government area of Plateau State has on behalf of Traditional Council and members of the Association appreciated majority leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly and member representing Bokkos Constituency Hon. Ishaku Maren for providing and installing Transformer to the community.
In a statement by chairman of Kunet-Barah Community Development Association (KUBACDA), Damla Bulus Dickop, noted that their joy knows no bound for the love the member have for the people of Kunet-Barah, Butura District and entire Bokkos Constituency for the intervention within the shortest span of days in Office among other dividends of democracy.
“The provision of transformer, cables and other electrical insulators and subsequent installation to Kunet-Barah Community and environs which is part of host Communities to Plateau State University Bokkos will surely boost economic activities security check across the locality, investors would now have the opportunity to migrate from other places to this location for businesses, which will further increase revenue indices of the Local, State and Federal Governments at large.”
They recalled that during his electioneering campaign, he promised if given the mandate, he will among other infrastructural development connect Kunet-Barah community and environs to the National greed with electricity being the headquarters of Butura Ward.
The chairman added that their conviction is that the member will not relent in any of the promises he made during campaign untill he touches every aspect of live within his constituency and beyond.
They urged the lawmaker to use the influence of his exalted position as the majority leader of the Plateau State tenth Assembly to impact not only his constituency but the state at large.
“We in Kunet-Barah Community, lack words that supercedes thank you to qualify our heartfelt appreciation to you for this wonderful gesture done to us after waiting for decades of promises from past leaders in various capacities including effort of the past Community leaders to no avail. Indeed you are a God sent to deliver us from the long suffering. To God be the glory, sooner than later, we will be enlisted among villages connected to the National greed through your benevolence.” The statement added.
The community prayed God to grant the lawmaker his heart desire and endear him with wisdom, vision and sound health to ensure that positive impact is felt across the constituency as majority leader of the tenth Plateau State Assembly.
