Ahead of the March 18 Governorship and House of Assembly elections, Wife of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Mrs Miranda David Ombugadu has called on women in the state to vote for the party’s candidates to provide inclusive government for economic empowerment.

Mrs Ombugadu made the call during  a meeting with leaders of religious and socio cultural women groups in Lafia  the Nasarawa State capital.

She stated that women had the capacity to transform the state by voting to power visionary leaders whose policies are centred on empowering the people rather than self enrichment.

Mrs Ombugadu called on the women to give PDP the chance at the polls as according to her, the party was committed to securing a better future for children and women in the state.

“My husband is somebody that carries everybody along and you can always access him through me. He will bring better future for your children,  provide good roads, hospitals and employment  for women and youths.

“Ombugadu is a man of his words and when ever he says something,  he makes sure he does it and accomplishes that mission. 

” I want to assure you that Nasarawa State would be better under  Ombugadu because he is prepared to bring the desired  change and transformation to the state,” she said.

The wife of the PDP Candidate in Nasarawa State Mrs Miranda Ombugadu visited Women wing of Igbo Community Association, Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria and Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria FOMWAN where she donated a bus and food items to each of the groups.
