Plateau: Jos East Council Boss Eulogies Plateau State University VC

Executive Chairman, Jos East Local Government Council, Pastor Yakubu Izang Ezekiel has described the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Plateau State University, Bokkos, Professor, Yohana Izam as an astute leader, hard working, dedicated and an epitome of transformation of the Institution.

Pastor Yakubu Ezekiel was speaking while playing host to the Executive Council of the Students Union Government (SUG) led by the Deputy Dean, Students Affairs of the Institution, Yakubu Ibrahim Itse, in the Chairman’s office at Angware, recently, during a courtesy call.

Statement by the Information Officer of the Council, Yusufu Haruna Magit, stated that the chairman further stressed that the disposition of the Vice Chancellor’s leadership style which brought about the turn around of infrastructure, establishment and accreditation of more programmes in the University has accorded him an age over his contemporaries in other Universities.

He pointed out that the Vice Chancellor, as a son of Afizere Nation, they are proud of him for achieving so much within the five year term of Office, while praying for his successful exit come February, 2023.

Ezekiel commended the SUG Officials and the Deputy Dean, Student affairs of the University for deeming it feet to honour the Vice Chancellor and accepted the invitation as well as pledged to lead his cabinet to attend.

Earlier on, the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs, Yakubu Ibrahim Itse and the President, Student, Union Government (SUG) Comrade Kaze Peter Arin of PLASU, both said they were in the Chairman’s office to invite him and his cabinet to be part of the event to honour the Vice Chancellor of the Plateau State University Bokkos for a successful tenure come February, 2023.
