The Wase Equity Project has congratulated Ahmed Idris Wase on his third anniversary as the member representing Wase Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives, describing his tenure as marked by impactful leadership and visible development.
In a statement issued on Saturday by its Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Muhammad Badu (Dan Malikin Wase), the group commended the former Deputy Speaker for what it described as his unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of the constituency since assuming office in 2023.
According to the group, Wase has translated his campaign promises into tangible projects and programmes that have positively affected the lives of constituents across the federal constituency.
The statement highlighted several achievements recorded during the lawmaker’s three years in office, including the rehabilitation and construction of roads, renovation of educational facilities, and improvements in healthcare delivery services.
The group noted that these interventions have contributed significantly to improving the quality of life of residents and promoting development across the constituency.
The Wase Equity Project also praised the lawmaker’s efforts in youth empowerment, saying he facilitated employment opportunities for many young people from the constituency within the federal civil service.
It further commended his role in securing political appointments for members of the constituency, describing the appointments as a boost to political inclusion and representation.
The group equally acknowledged Wase’s contributions to peacebuilding in the area, stating that his advocacy, dialogue initiatives, and strategic interventions have helped foster harmony and unity among communities in Wase.
