The 2023 governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Plateau State, Hon. Solomon Nandy Chendan, has announced the passing of his mother, Mrs. Maryamu Solomon Chendan.
According to reports available to this medium, the family matriarch passed away in Jos on Tuesday evening at the age of 83.
Hon. Chendan disclosed the sad development in a post on his verified Facebook page, where he paid tribute to his late mother.
“Losing a mother is losing a part of your foundation. Rest in peace, Ma’am,” he wrote.
The former governorship candidate stated that details of the funeral arrangements would be made public after consultations and conclusions by the family.
Family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers have continued to express their condolences to Hon. Chendan and his family over the loss.
