Dr Faisal Shuaibu, Ex-Chief Executive Officer, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has contested the All Progressive Congress (APC) senate primaries for the Nasarawa West Senatorial District ticket unopposed.

Mr Mathew Gambo, APC Electoral Committee Chairman for Nasarawa West Senatorial District disclosed this on Monday in Keffi local government area of Nasarawa state while distributing electoral materials to officials who will conduct the process.

Gambo noted that despite the contest having just one candidate in the person of Shuaibu, the electoral process would still be carried out in line with the constitution of the party.

He then called on party members to conduct themselves peacefully while carrying out the mandate to vote for the candidate to represent the party at the 2027;general election.

Our Correspondent reports that Shuaibu is now the unofficial APC candidate to contest the 2027 general election for the Nasarawa West Senatorial District seat at the Senate after more than 8000 party members came out to vote him unopposed as their candidate of choice.

Shuaibu’s emergence is expected to strengthen the APC’s preparations foe the forthcoming general elections in the district, with supporters across the state celebrating him as the best man for the job.
