The Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO), under the leadership of Comrade Muktar Jarmajo, has donated the sum of N500,000 to persons living with disabilities in Bauchi State as part of efforts to improve their living conditions and provide support during the Ramadan period.
The donation was announced during a special distribution of Ramadan food items to people with special needs across the state.
The distributions, which attracted beneficiaries and community members, was held at the Double Four International Conference Hall, Bauchi.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chief executive officer of the organisation, Mallam Muktar Jarmajo said the gesture was aimed at easing the burden of vulnerable groups during the holy month of Ramadan and reaffirmed Organization’s commitment to humanitarian service and inclusive community development.
Speaking on behalf of tbe beneficiaries, Fatima Abdulrahman and Muktar Umar Mallam Goje, expressed appreciation to the organisation for the timely intervention, describing it as a welcome relief during the fasting period.
