The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has expressed deep sorrow over recent terrorist attacks in parts of the North Central region, particularly in Kwara, Niger and Benue states.
The Commission said it was devastated by the latest attack on Kaima in Kwara State, which resulted in the loss of several innocent lives.
Mr. James Uloko, the Commission’s Executive Director, Corporate Services, in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Lafia, said that the NCDC condemned the attacks, describing them as heinous, senseless and deeply disturbing.
The Commission extended its heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Kwara State, especially the affected communities, and prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased.
