………. Visits Aren Eggon palace, condoles Monarch over carnival tragedy.

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau has called on wealthy individuals in the State to give back to the society by investing their resources in the State especially in their immediate communities to enhance development.
This, the Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen said it will complement government efforts and enhance the standard of living of the rural dwellers.
Speaker Jatau made the call while commissioning a filling station built by AA Ashangwa in Mada Station, Nassarawa Eggon LGA of the State today Tuesday.
Dr. Jatau commended the pragmatic efforts of AA Ashangwa for the idea and innovation which he described as timely that will bring soccour to the people of the area.
He called on well-to-do individuals in the State to support and complement the State Government efforts by investing their resources at home to give their people lifeline, giving back to the society, create jobs and enhance socio-economic activities.
While calling on the people to patronize the station he re-assured them of government commitment to tackling poverty, insecurity and other emerging challenges.
On his part, member representing Nassarawa Eggon West Constituency at the State Assembly Hon. Abel Bala said that the project will go a long way in reducing the plight of the people, uplift the town to the eyes of the world and hailed AA Ashangwa for the initiative.
Various Speaker’s at the event including the Administrator of the area, National Woman Leader, youth leader of the area among others applauded AA Ashangwa for the gesture just as the youth leader of the area used the occasion to appealed for establishment of military base in the area, provision of vehicles among others to security agents to tackle insecurity.
Similarly, the Speaker also visited the palace of Aren Eggon in Nassarawa Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku (rtd) where he condoled with the Monarch over the recent carnival tragedy that claimed four lives with about twenty people injured urging the traditional ruler, Eggon nation and the deceased family to take solace in God just as the royal father thanked him and his entourage for the condolences.
The Speaker was also at the family compound of one of the carnival victims Amos Asele in Lafia who lost his life during the unfortunate incident to sympathize with them.
The Speaker was accompanied during the day’s engagement by some lawmakers to include Hon. Hudu A. Hudu, Hon. Solomon Akwashiki and Hon. Muhammed Garba Isimbabi.
