The Amper Zone APC Endorsement
On December 23, 2025, APC stakeholders (including six ward chairmen, women leaders, and other party leaders and members) united to endorse Gokum for a second term in 2027.
Their verdict? His “excellent performance” deserves another mandate.
Those who spoke at the meeting that resulred in the endorsement included former chairmen of Kanke LGA, Hon Simon Ngwan and Hon Emmanuel Lar.

Others included Hon Paul Juryit, Cecilia Pali, Rapheal Gotau, Dawok Goma and Senior Legislative Aide to the Majority Leader, Hon Lengdima Kassam, all agree that the member representing Kanke, Hon Joseph Gokum has set a record for quality representation to enable him to be returned for a second term.
What’s Next?
Pundits believe Kanke could leapfrog politically if Gokum’s trajectory continues. The constituency stands to gain even more if he’s re-elected.
