A 15 million naira Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), has been signed between the Member representing Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State in the House of Representatives, Hon Mansur Manu Soro and the Darazo-Ganjuwa Water Management Initiative.
The MoU is in furtherance of the commitments of the Federal Lawmaker to providing a clean and safe drinking water to the communities that make up the Federal Constituency.
Speaking while signing the MoU, Mansur Manu Soro said that, they have provided mobilization funds for the commencement of solar-powered water project in Konkiyel ward of Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency.
“This followed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) this week between my humble self and the Darazo-Ganjuwa Water Management Initiative.”
“We shall continue to sacrifice the little we have for the provision of safe drinking water for our people. We are propelled the notion that Water is Life.”
“I wish to call on Konkiyel community to ensure close monitoring of the project implementation for better outcomes. The project belongs to the community, it is up to them to ensure that it is well protected for their benefits” he said.
He assured that he will continue to provide impactful representation to the people of the Constituency as long as he remains their representative.
Mansur Manu Soro used the occasion to commend Governor Bala Mohammed for the good things his administration is doing for the citizens of the state, noting that his Federal Constituency has benefited from the ongoing development in the State.
In a brief remarks, representative of the Darazo-Ganjuwa Water Management Initiative, commended the Federal Lawmaker for signing the MoU, saying that he will ensure the provision of good sources of drinking water for the residents.
The representative of the Initiative assured that the MoU will be implemented in accordance with the contents considering the positive intentions behind it.
