The National Assembly Caucus in Benue State has announced their overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
This endorsement comes after extensive engagements led by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
The caucus praised Akume as a visionary leader and the main key to political unity in Benue, dismissing rival political figures’ attempts to tap into his goodwill through dinner parties as futile.
The endorsement reflects a deep-rooted consensus reached after months of consultations and grassroots dialogues.
The caucus credited Akume’s influence in securing federal investments in Benue and his role in fostering peace in rural communities.
They criticized rival factions’ political maneuvers as desperate attempts to capitalize on Akume’s popularity, reaffirming their support for him and Tinubu’s administration.
Looking ahead, the caucus announced plans to intensify grassroots mobilization for President Tinubu, under the guidance of Senator George Akume.
