
In fulfilling it’s core mandate of helping the vulnerable, Genshakka Emmanuel Foundation (GEF), has come to the aid of a venerable child who was at the verge of losing the opportunity for quality education in Plateau State.
A resident of Kwata-Zawan, Kaneng Pam Bawa’s hope for quality education was light up with the full life scholarship from the foundation at Peculiar Children Academy, a renowned school in the area.
Mr. Ezekiel Turbe who spoke on behalf of the founder of the organisation said the scholarship is to run for a life time for as long as she is in school.
He explained that the gesture is a way of saying thank you to the community that host the office of the NGO in Jos South Local Government Area of the State.
Mr. Turbe who is the program manager of the NGO expressed the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the host community.
Responding the grand mother of the beneficiary appreciated the foundation for what she described as a wonderful gesture and prayed for better days for the founder and the NGO.
In the same light the Chairman of Kwata Zawan Development Association Mr. Clement Gyang Badoo also expressed gratitude to GEF for the intervention and prayed for more collaboration as he promised to support them in anything that will bring progress to the host community.
The traditional ruler of the community, Gwom Kwata, Da Gregory Pwajok also thanked the NGO for the great work and promised to give them the best support in any way he can.
