The Nigerian National League (NNL) side, Mighty Jets International Football Club of Jos, on Sunday unveiled renowned tactician Dokubo Ere as its new technical adviser.

The two-year contract was confirmed the club’s General Manager, Ferdinand Mbum, who said Ere’s appointment aligns with the team’s ambition for the 2025/2026 NNL season.

Mbum expressed delight at the recruitment of Ere, stressing that his wealth of knowledge and experience would be crucial to the club’s push for promotion.

“We are excited to have him on board, and we strongly believe his experience will prove invaluable to our team,” Mbum said.

He added that Ere’s established pedigree in Nigerian football would inspire the club towards achieving its long-term ambition of playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

In his response, Ere pledged commitment to helping Mighty Jets secure promotion, vowing to work tirelessly to ensure the team achieves its set objectives.

“My aim is to help the team gain promotion, and I am determined to do all it takes,” Ere promised during the unveiling ceremony.

The Plateau Football Association (PFA) also pledged its full backing, assuring the club of necessary support to enhance its chances of success.

According to PFA Chairman, Suleiman Kwande, the team is already making strides in the right direction to realise its lofty aspirations in Nigerian football.

“We will give 100 per cent support to them to succeed. It will be exciting to see both Plateau United and Mighty Jets in the NPFL,” he said.
