Go into labour market with confidence, determination to succeed – Corps members charged

The Corps members who just passed out in Bauchi State have been encouraged to go into the labour market with confidence and determination to succeed by embracing skill acquisition that will make them stand out among other job seekers.

The charge was given to the Corps members by the Sector Commander, Bauchi State Sector Command of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC), CC Istifanus Ibrahim, while addressing out going Corps members who did their CD as Cadets of the FRSC.

The Send-forth ceremony was held at the FRSC Sector Command, Base, along Jos Road, Bauchi.

He urged them to approach the Labour Market with every confidence because according to him there are a lot of avenues for them to thrive.

“You are all very lucky, I understand that while in the Camp, you were introduced to various Entrepreneurship skills. That is enough for you to stand on your own, you don’t need to wait for any employer.”

“With what you have learnt at the Camp, you can establish yourself and become an employer, someone who will give others employment opportunities.”

“It is time for you to give your parents, respite, they have struggled to see you through school to this level, please, don’t go to be another burden to them.”The Sector Commander said

Istifanus Ibrahim also urged them to continue to be ambassadors of the FRSC by ensuring they put into practice every precautionary road measures they had Imbibed during the service year.

In his remarks, the Sector Coordinator of the Special Marshal, SM Godwin Obioha, commended the Cadets for contributing to the safer roads campaign in the State.

He urged them not to abandon the road safety campaigns now that they had graduated and passed out, stressing that their service to humanity has just begun.

The Special Marshal Coordinator assured them that the new members of the Cadets will be warmly welcome to participate in the activities of the Special Marshal.

Earlier in her farewell speech, the Cadet-in-Chief, Humaira Adamu appreciated the FRSC for giving them the opportunity to serve as CDS members of the FRSC in the last one year of the service.

She disclosed that the Cadets recorded some landmark achievements during her tenure leading to the active participation of more Corps members in the CDS.

The Cadet-in-Chief also appreciated the Special Marshal for the support they received throughout their service period saying that it was a memorable journey for them.
