In a bold move, the Nasarawa State Indigenous Support Group for Tinubu 2027 has reiterated its unwavering commitment to backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agenda, while also throwing its weight behind a familiar face for the state’s governorship seat in 2027 – Hon. Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu.
During a high-profile working visit to Nasarawa State on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the group made a passionate plea to President Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi A. Sule to grant Dr. Kigbu an automatic APC ticket for the 2027 governorship election.
According to the group’s spokesman, Comrade Christopher Auta Ozigi, Dr. Kigbu’s impressive track record of humanitarian service, devoid of tribal or religious bias, makes him the ideal candidate to lead the state towards progress and prosperity.
