Dr. Haruna Kigbu, former Lafia/Obi Federal Lawmaker, has formally declared his intention to contest for the Nasarawa State Governorship seat in 2027, citing his desire to expand his humanitarian initiatives for the betterment of Nasarawa State and beyond.
Dr. Kigbu made the declaration when the Council of Eggon Elders, Nasarawa South, convened in Lafia, Nasarawa State, for a pivotal meeting that underscored the growing support for Hon. Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu’s governorship aspiration.
The Council, led Hon. Ali Akpandam, responded with resounding enthusiasm, officially endorsing Dr. Kigbu’s candidacy with a bold declaration: “We stand with Dr. Kigbu for Governor 2027.”
