Mr. Bishop Ablaku Mathew, former Nasarawa State Chairman of the Young Progressive Party ( YPP), on Tuesday applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing former Federal Lawmaker Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu as Federal Commissioner National Population Commission representing Nasarawa State.
Before Dr. Kigbu’s appointment he was elected as Federal lawmaker representing Lafia/Obi Federal constituency in 2011-2015.
Mr. Bishop Ablaku, gave this applaud in an interview with with Journalists in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
He said the appointment of the former lawmaker didn’t come to them as a surprise considering his track record of achievement to the national development over the years.
Mr. Bishop who is currently Secretary of the Middle Belt Development Forum explained that the appointee had held so many positions which his contribution has touch the lives of several Nigerians and Africa at large.
While congratulating Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu, who is known as ‘Doctor Talakawa’, Mr. Bishop praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu worthy of the appointment.
According to him, ” the appointment of Joseph Haruna Kigbu, didn’t come to us as a surprise he worth it. We are expecting him to do well so that his future will be great.
He further said that what Dr. Haruna Kigbu, is currently doing on his medical field will bring his wide experience to bear while carrying his national task
The former YPP Chairman called on the people of Nasarawa State to support APC led Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to bring the needed development to the people of Nasarawa State.
