The Chairman, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Education, Rt. Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala, has assured of the committee’s readiness and commitment to give Nasarawa State University, Keffi all the necessary support to succeed.
Rt. Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala , who represents Nassarawa Eggon West constituency gave the assurance while playing host to management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi led by its New Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman in his office in Lafia today.
He said that the House want to make the university one of the best universities in the country, hence the need to support it at all times to succeed.
“We will work together to ensure that we make the university one of the best universities in Nigeria.
“As the importance of education to human and societal development could not be overemphasized,” he said.
Abel also congratulated Prof Sa’adatu Hassan Liman on her appointment as the New VC of the university.
Earlier, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the New Vice Chancellor Nasarawa State University, Keffi said that the visit was to familiarize themselves with the House Committee on Education.
She also thanked the committee for supporting the university to succeed.
