The immediate past Senate Minority Leader in National Assembly’s, Senator Simon Mwatkon, has congratulated the Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang on Skills Acquisition, Hon. David Jang Zayong, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as humble and focused Leader.
He stated this Sunday at the Thanksgiving Service held in honour of the celebrant, Hon. Zayong, at the Church On The Rock Ministry Rayfield Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The Senator said, “this day is unique, unique in the sense that our dear brother has clocked 60 years and he felt it is necessary to go before God to thank Him for these years. To clock 60 years is not a small fit so, it is a welcome development.
“For his personality, he is a gentleman, hardworking, trustworthy and focused. He has worked in different places and has done credibly well even as a politician. Today he is holding an appointment with the Plateau State Government as Special Adviser and I believe the Governor has seen the capacity in him”, he commended.
On his part, the Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang on Strategic Communication, Hon. Timothy Golu, described Zayong’s 60 years on earth as an achievement and blessing of the grace of God and payed God to multiply all the blessings He has bestowed on him.
Responding to all the out pours of goodwill by dignitaries who graced the occasion, the Celebrant, Hon. David Jang Zayong, who is the Special Adviser to Governor on Skills Acquisition, thanked God for seeing all these while in strength and good health throughout these 60 years in life.
While reflecting on his new appointment, he said, “I was an Adviser to Governor Jonah Jang while in my late 40s and now to Governor Mutfwang at 60. I am trying to get a balance. What I am bringing now is experience and thank God that we have a Governor now who is very determined. So the game is positively up to me to have to contribute meaningfully”.
Meanwhile, the wife of the Celebrant, Mrs. Doshima Jang Zayong, described her husband as a sincere and persistent person and prayed God to guide him so that, he would be able to give humanity the result of the blessings endowed in him by God saying, “I feel lucky and blessed to have him. My wish for him is to succeed in whatever he is doing”.
