A socio-cultural group, Mwagahvul women at home and diaspora has donated relief materials to victims of attack currently taking refuge at the Bungha Dawo Pilot Primary School in Mangu local government area of plateau state.
Leading the delegation, and convener of the group Mrs. Christiana Dakwal represented by Dr. Nalong Yale expressed her pains over what she described as inhumanity to man and lamented where people are murdered in cool blood and property destroyed without provocation as not only unacceptable but also barbaric.
Christiana on behalf of the women called on the Federal and State governments to as a matter of urgency rise to the occasion and live up to the obligation of safe guiding lives and property of the citizens, pointing out that only doing so will help them return to their ancestral homes to prepare ahead of the next farming season.
She noted that the victims who are predominantly farmers needs intervention to enable them boost their farm production as that is their means of livelihood and doing so will cushion hunger and food scarcity in the land which fundamental.

Responding, the national President, Women Wing of the Mwagahvul Development Associated Dr. Zepporah Duguryil lauded the Mwagahvul Collaboration group for the gesture, adding that it will go a long way to alleviate the suffering of the victims.
Appreciating the group on behalf of the victims, Rev. Enoch Jonathan acknowledge the fact that the visit has further strengthen them, but call on the government to facilitate the rebuilding of their communities to enable them return home and continue with their farming activities.
The items donated include bags of maize, tubers of yams, toiletries seasonings, among others.
