Kidnapping: Nigeria Army Releases  Helplines for Citizens

Worried by the spate of Kidnapping and other criminal activities especially on the Plateau, North Central parts of Nigeria, the Nigeria Army has issued out 7 Helplines for citizens to report any suspicious element in their area for prompt response.

General Officer Commanding 3 Division and Commander OPERATION SAFE HAVEN, Major General IS Ali issued the Helplines through the Military Information Officer and Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 3 Division, Major Ishaku Takwa in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The Commanding Officer appreciated the people of Plateau State for their continues cooperation and support to security agencies in their bids to maintain peace and security in the state.

“As we work assiduously to prevent criminalities and worried by the increasing spate of kidnapping, we  enjoin all law abiding citizens to use our helplines to promptly report any suspicious persons or activities in your neighbourhood and communities for prompt action” he added. 

The Helplines are, 08138336063, 09072085224, 08021002434, 08021212139 and others are 08149000091, 08090498333, 08074633336.

This is coming few days after a traditional ruler of Tal Chiefdom in Pankshin local government area was kidnapped by armed men in his palace.
