A frontline Gubernatorial aspirant in Plateau State come 2023, Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum, who is also the
Chief Executive Officer of Institute of Human Virology Abuja has assured all Plateau State citizens of working the Plateau project where peace and progress are paramount to fruition.
Dr. Dakum was addressing his teaming supporters and members of the consolidation for greater Plateau shortly after he picked the All Progressive Congress APC nomination and interest forms for the Governorship race yesterday in Abuja.
“First of all i want to thank God Almighty for touching lives of many which include my friends and all of you who contributed financially and your efforts to see that we were able to secure N50 Million Naira to pick the form.To the Consolidation for Greater Plateau 2023 Team, stakeholders and everyone who believes in this movement thank you so much.I want to assure you all that I will always work the Plateau project to fruition and fight for Plateau as well as an all inclusive government” he said.
Dr. Dakum also said he believed that it is God who gives leadership and he knows that himself and the entire team have worked tirelessly to talk to delegates and win election for the progressive party come 2023.
He further encouraged all his supporters to work and make peace with other aspirants because he believed politics is not a fight. He appealed to all his supporters to continue to preach Dr. Dakum but emphasized that they should not fight with anybody because he stand for peace.
Earlier while presenting the Nomination and Expression forms to Dr. Patrick Dakum, Mr. Iliya Simon,the Chief Executive Officer of Bluewhales Nigeria Transport Company Ltd, said the event marks a great day in the history of Plateau State and Nigeria at large as they all gathered to celebrate with a leader, a man whom they believe will move Plateau State to a greater heights and consolidate on the past governments.
His words,”I am happy to be part of this movement because I strongly believe in you sir, and I know you will not disappoint this large crowd that are supporting you.Our prayers is that we will come and celebrate our victory come 2023.Congratulations sir”.
A mammoth crowd of the Consolidation for Greater Plateau Team, Strategic Team, Elders Forum, Women Groups,Youths Groups, Support Group and well wishers both from Jos and Abuja thronged the International Conference Centre in support of the aspirant as he picked the Plateau State APC Gubernatorial form in the forthcoming APC Primaries.
