The Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Yakubu Sanda has rejoiced with the House Majority Leader and Member representing Mikang State Constituency, Hon Naanlong Daniel over his election as National Secretary, Nigeria Majority Leaders forum of State Houses of Assembly.
The Speaker in a statement by his Press Secretary, Sabastine S. Hommuk, describe the election of Hon Naanlong Daniel as an attestation of his outstanding quality and understanding of legislative business.
He noted that the zeal, drive and commitment of the Majority Leader has earned him the position and he has no doubt that Naanlong will perform beyond expectation.
He encourage the Majority Leader to use his wealth of experience to unite members of the forum to promote and entrench democratic values in their respective State Assemblies.
The Speaker assures Hon. Naanlong Daniel, of the House’s support to enable him succeed in his new assignment and pray for God’s wisdom and protection.
Rt. Hon Sanda commends the forum under the new leadership of Hon. Sanai Oyeniran of the Lagos State House of Assembly for a hitch free election and urged them to bring in innovations and dynamism to make the Nigeria legislature a model for other African countries to emulate.
